Freedom to stand where I choose
Freedom to walk away from cages disguised as love

If someone mistakes this for weakness
And decides to walk out of my life

I count it as strength—
The courage to grant freedom
Even to those I love

My compass does not spin in storms
It points true, always
Toward justice
