Dr. Lokman Khan
I’m not sorry
When my words clash with yours,
When they cut through the comfortable silence
To name what’s wrong—
Because it’s the truth that matters.
I’m not sorry
When I call out hypocrisy,
Even if you stand in the glow of fame.
My voice will not be silenced
By your spotlight.
I’m not sorry
If you break the law
And I rise to confront you—
I’ll speak with unflinching honesty,
No matter your power or wealth.
I’m not sorry
For the battles I’ve fought
And the ones I’m still fighting.
Injustice is a wound that demands
Words and action, not apologies.
I’m not sorry
For what I have learned—
Knowledge unlocks the blindfold
We all wear sometimes.
My truth may burn, but it’s real.
And for that,
I am not sorry.
