Life’s like a song, easy to sing,
Happy or sad, it’s a simple thing.
Sometimes, life’s just straight and clear,
A laugh, a cry, a friend that’s near.

One day I’m on top, feeling great,
Everything’s perfect, nothing to hate.
The next day, not so much, luck’s run out,
Dreams fall apart, filled with doubt.

One day the sky’s heavy, full of clouds,
The sun’s hidden, like behind shrouds.
Then it’s bright, the sky’s clear,
Sunshine’s warm, brings good cheer.

Today I’m here, living, breathing,
Every second, life’s worth seizing.
And one day I won’t be, that’s just life,
But till then, I’ll cut through strife.

Life doesn’t have to be too complicated,
In simple things, joy’s created.
So let’s catch those rays when they beam,
And live life simple, like a dream.
