Dr. Lokman Khan

If you can’t see the fire in my soul,
Then don’t pretend to hold my hand.
If respect is too much to offer me,
Then leave, you don’t need to stand.

I was not born to beg for love,
Or crawl beneath your pride.
I’ve weathered storms in silence,
I’ve bled, and yet survived.

If my worth feels too heavy
For your fragile ego to bear,
Then drop it, break it, walk away—
I’ll breathe just fine without your air.

So hear me once, and hear it loud—
No shame, no tears, no strife:
If you won’t give me what I’ve earned,
Get the hell out of my life.

I’m not your second option,
I’m not your rainy day—
I’m the storm you couldn’t handle,
And I’m walking away.
