i breathe in the promise of saturday
the pulse of freedom dancing on my tongue
there’s joy in casual mornings, laughter
rippling like sunshine through open blinds
my heart unfurls, warm with possibility
today, i’m safe enough to say anything
my truth opens wide
flowing, unfiltered
to friends who share my silly stories,
my deepest sighs, my wanton cravings—
to loved ones who cradle my questions
with patient eyes and open arms
this is my loving weekend—
where i do whatever sparks wonder
and speak words that feel like spring air
gentle, honest, entirely free.
