A poem by Dr Lokman Khan
Some feelings are best left unspoken,
Let them slowly burn forever in the heart.
In the silence, they find their voice,
A quiet flame that will never depart.
When I am no longer in this world,
Whisper to yourself about me.
In those moments, let my memory reveal,
For I deserve that much, you see.
Living longer is not my quest,
A beautiful moment is worth a thousand lives.
In those cherished times, I feel blessed,
As if in each, a new life thrives.
I have lived many lives in my short span,
Each moment, a treasure, a story untold.
In love, I find the essence of who I am,
In the emotions that silently unfold.
Love is not just in what I see or say,
It’s in the deep feelings I hold for you.
In the unspoken bond that lights my way,
In the connection that binds us, true.
