A poem about friendship
By Dr Lokman Khan
In genuine friendships, hearts align,
Where words flow freely, clear as sunshine.
No hidden meanings, no cryptic signs,
Just open hearts and honest minds.
In this safe haven, trust is found,
A bond unbroken, deeply profound.
No need to guess or read between,
For every thought is plainly seen.
True friends accept, with open arms,
Each other’s quirks, each other’s charms.
No masks to wear, no roles to play,
Just authentic selves, day by day.
In this pure space, we find our peace,
Where complications find release.
A friendship free from tangled threads,
Where open hearts and minds are wed.
