Once upon a town, where colors gleamed bright,
A mural stood proud, in the day and the night.
It painted our values, in shades so true,
Democracy’s yellows, and honesty’s blue.
But as seasons changed, the colors did fade,
Under the sun’s glare and the rain’s harsh cascade.
The powerful few, with their shadowy might,
Spread a culture of fear, turning day into night.
The people walked by, with a shiver, a frown,
As the mural’s bold message slowly drowned.
Yet, in hearts still warm, a spark did ignite,
A desire to restore the mural’s lost light.
“Stand tall,” they cried, “let’s not cower or bend,
For this mural’s our legacy, to defend and amend.
With each brush and hue, let’s repaint for our kin,
The values we cherish, from within.”
