By Dr Lokman Khan

In the garden of life, love blooms wild and free,
But the rarest of flowers are those that love me.
For the heart that gives, without a thought of return,
Is the fire that within my soul will burn.

To be loved is a treasure, more precious than gold,
A harbor safe and warm, when the world feels cold.
It’s not in the seeking, but in being worth the find,
A journey of the heart, and a challenge of the mind.

The love that I chase may flutter away,
But the love that stays is here to sway.
It’s not about the many, but the cherished few,
Who love without limits, and with hearts so true.

For in this dance of life, it’s not just about the pace,
But who is there to hold you, in a loving embrace.
I may not be loved by all who pass my way,
But those who do, turn night into day.

So here’s to the ones who stand by my side,
With love that’s as deep as the ocean is wide.
For a life filled with love is a life that’s well-lived,
And to those who love me, my heart is freely given.
