If you want to pay tribute, do it today,
While they walk in the sun, while they can feel the ray.
Let your words be a gentle, warm embrace,
Speak your heart, face to face.

If love resides deep within your chest,
Let it out now, for that is best.
Why whisper to stars, cold and distant in the night,
When you can say “I love you” in the morning light?

So if you want to tribute someone, do it now,
Let them bask in the glow, and take a bow.
And if you want to say you love someone, say it today,
For now is the time, in this moment, not far away.
