By Dr Lokman Khan

A fire burns within my soul,
A rage for wrongs that take their toll.
The innocent, the unheard cries,
A bitter truth in tear-filled eyes.

Injustice, a serpent cold and vast,
Coiling tight, a grip that’s cast
On freedoms stolen, spirits crushed,
Hope and dreams to dust are hushed.

The heart can’t bear such cruelty,
This world’s harsh stage, a tragedy.
But anger’s flame, it will not die,
It fuels a fight, a rising cry.

For voices raised, for hands that reach,
To break the chains, for justice preach.
We’ll mend the cracks, the wounds so deep,
And plant the seeds of kindness we’ll keep.

This anger’s fire, it will refine,
To forge a world where all can shine.
With love and strength, the tide we’ll turn,
This burning rage, a fire to burn.
